Les Mouches were last seen crossing over into the afterworld.
That is to say, "it is not nice... they are dead."
No more shows, no more recordings, no more no more no more.
This is the sad, awful truth. Despite relentless optimism on their parts, everybody is too busy doing more interesting and worthwhile things to go back to the "cum in my mouth" flavourings of Les Mouches.
Rob is busy pressing records for Blood Works and playing with From Fiction.
Matt is busy playing with Awesome and recording other people's records, including Colin Bergh and Matt's own stuff.
Steph is planning to make music videos and films, and is also doing a lot of pin-making, poster making and t-shirt designs.
Owen is doing Final Fantasy non-stop.
Is this a sad turn of events? No.
Although I personally think Les Mouches' finest moments occured rather late in it's life. All the best Les Mouches songs remain unrecorded.
A DVD just resurfaced of our 2nd show ever (and our first in Toronto)... and it's remarkably similar to our last show ever (Pop Montreal last year.)
In other words, were we really going anywhere?
And furthermore, you have to ask yourself. Was it good? Was it bad? Or was it just goodbad?

From Fiction are gearing up to release their long-awaited debut ep. It will kill you it is so good. They'll be touring through May and June.
John Wayner, Matt's solo laptop project, releases its first cd in the next two months on Department of Records. He told me what it was called but I can't remember.
Final Fantasy, Owen's solo violin project, is playing the Bobby Birdman tribute show on April 14th at Sneaky Dee's. Also a Wavelength show on May 8th (or 9th, I forget) with Patrick Wolf. There will be CDs released in a limited edition of 1 copy each.
Matt Schmidth has no upcoming shows.
The Fast, our Coldplay ripoff band, is busy writing songs and getting ready to record an lp. This is a project strictly to impress and please our bosses and parents.
King Tut, the collaboration between Owen and Animal Monster's Alex Snukal, is also recording their debut lp.
Picastro is touring the States at the end of April. Dates are on the message board.
Owen has continued to rain on Three Gut's parade, ruining everything that lovely label asks him to do. He played onstage with The Constantines at SXSW and in Toronto. He produced and performed on Gentleman Reg's upcoming album. He performs on Royal City's upcoming album, "Little Heart's Ease". But Owen is pretty sure everybody at that label's getting pretty sick of his scratchy playing by now, and is baking them all pies to make them feel better.
Nifty is fertilizing crops in North Virginia. Hopefully recordings will surface by the end of the year.
HARDONS AND BONERS will return shortly!!
